Interested in joining the KRPA Board of Directors?
KRPA invites interested members to provide leadership as members of the KRPA Board of Directors. If you would have interest in being a member of the board of directors or in nominating someone for a board position, contact the past president who serves as the nominating committee chair. A ballot of officer candidates is prepared by the end of August and distributed to the membership for the voting process.
The terms of office for the offices of President, President-Elect, Past-President and Secretary-Treasurer are one year. The Branch Chairs and Regional Representatives serve two-year terms. The President of KRPA appoints all committee chairs.
Each KRPA branch also is governed by a board. Branch chair-elect positions are selected during the election process by a vote of professional members who designate themselves in that branch category through association membership.

In addition to serving as board members, the executive committee serves as the personnel committee, acting on personnel matters, serves as the board of directors for the KRPA Scholarship Association and Larry Heeb Professional Development Fund and determines inductees for the KRPA Hall of Fame.
