STUDENT MEMBERSHIP CATEGORY

KRPA welcomes park and recreation students from around the state who are attending school in Kansas or outside of the state.

As a student member of KRPA, you have an opportunity to learn about industry trends in Kansas, network with park and recreation professionals, improve your skills and enhance your understanding of job opportunities offered by KRPA members.

In addition, student members of KRPA are eligible to attend educational sessions at the KRPA Annual Conference and Trade Show at no cost. The KRPA annual conference gives students the opportunity to network with parks and recreation professionals and learn from special sessions designed especially for student members. 

Student members are given access to the KRPA Job Center Online to view job ads and post your resume online for employers to view.

Student Membership Eligibility/Benefits
Student members shall be those individuals enrolled in full-time, undergraduate or graduate basis majoring in recreation, parks conservation or related field at an accredited university, college or community college and is not employed full time in a recreation, park conservation or leisure services agency.  Members in this category may serve on committees and be eligible to hold office at the branch level but shall not hold voting privileges.
